To be Uncontaminated, Pure, Innocent and Holy.
The sure way that mankind can truly be clean (Free) from their sins, and their inevitable death, is to wash themselves in the Precious Blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God “YHWH” that taketh away the sins of the world. St. John 1:29
The Soul of mankind is to be sanctified and cleansed, and that by the washing of water by the word. In so doing, Jesus can then present it to Himself a Glorious Church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be Holy and without blemish, Ephesians 5:26-27. Now, this is what you call being Clean.
People need to look into the mirror of His Word, the Bible, to ensure that they are living a life acceptable unto Him.
We read in Genesis 35:2, Then Jacob said unto his household, and to all that were with him, Put away the strange gods that are among you, and be clean, and change your garments.
Part of the process of becoming clean is to put away the things wherewith one is defiled or made unclean.
We need to clean up; by putting off the old man with his sins. We are to wash ourselves in the Word of God “YHWH” and then, put on the Lord Jesus Christ that we may be able to show ourselves as being clean.
King David Psalms 24:3-5 wrote, Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? *He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. *He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
One Scripture says that no abominable or unclean thing will be allowed into the Kingdom of Heaven, Revelation 21:8. In fact, it says that they shall go to hell.
Those that are clean, in the eyes of the Lord, will receive a Sure Reward. The reward of the Righteous (The Clean) is Life Everlasting and it gives His (Jesus) children the right to enter into the Kingdom of God.
In Isaiah 1:16-18 the Prophet Isaiah wrote, Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; *Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. *Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
We have already covered this but it bears repeating. The only way that mankind can be clean (from sin) is to be washed in the Precious Blood of Jesus. The Blood of Jesus is the only thing that can cover sin. It is the only way where-by God “YHWH” when He looks through it, does not see sin.
In St. John 15:3 we read, Now ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you.
Again, we see that it is through the Word of the Lord (Who is Jesus) that mankind has the ability to be made clean. Because Jesus is the Word made flesh; and because of His Sacrifice, now OUR flesh, is being made Word; or the sons of God.
The Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 52:11 (n part) wrote, Be ye Clean that Bear the Vessels of the Lord.
Everyone that names the name of the Lord must be clean. If a person that is not clean preaches the Gospel of Jesus, some of the people that hear that person may also follow the way in which that person lives.
The reason for this is that all too often people rationalize that just because a person is a Minister of the Gospel then, everything that that person says and does is OK.
But I am here to tell you that you should follow a Minister "Even As" they Follow the Written Word of God, the Bible.
In Ezekiel 44:23 the Prophet Ezekiel wrote, And they “The Priests” shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
I have found in life today that it has become a practice of many so called Ministers of the Lord, that they do not want to tell people the do's and don’ts of the Bible, basically because they want to keep their job. They want to be everyone’s friend, they don’t want to say anything that may offend the ones hearing them.
But my Bible says, Cry aloud and spare not, show my people their sins, Isaiah 58:1. One reason this is so important today is that all too many people do not read the Bible for themselves, on a daily basis.
You might be surprised to find out how many people have never read the entire Bible, all the way through. I truly think it would benefit every individual to read the Bible through every year or at least every two years. Because it is the entrance of God’s Word that bringeth life and health to all your flesh. Proverbs 4:22
In Proverbs 16:2 King Solomon wrote, All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
Psalms 51:10, Create in me a Clean Heart, O Lord; and Renew a Right Spirit within me.
Job 17:9, The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger. “and SHALL Change from Glory to Glory!”
Revelation 19:14, And the Armies which were in Heaven followed Him upon White Horses, Clothed in Fine Linen, White and Clean.
Psalms 19:7-14, The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. *The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. **The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. *More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
*Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. *Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults. *Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. *Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
