To Captivate with love; to inspire with love.
The Apostle John in St. John 12:32 wrote; And I, if I be Lifted up from the earth; I will Draw ALL men (mankind) unto Me.
Jesus Showed His Great Love for mankind by Allowing Himself to by being Beaten, Ridiculed and Hung on a Cruel Cross; this was done to Draw mankind to Redemption (Salvation) from their sins.
Today, the Saints can continue the Work of Jesus to Draw mankind to Redemption (Salvation) by sharing the Gospel of Jesus; and by living a Righteous life among the Souls that are still lost in sin.
We read in St. Matthew 19:13-15; Then were there brought unto Him (Jesus) little children, that He should Put His Hands on them, and Pray: and the Disciples rebuked them. **But Jesus Said, Suffer little children, and forbid them NOT, to come unto Me: for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven. *And He Laid His Hands on them, and departed thence.
The Great Love that Jesus has for mankind is NOT limited to one group (segment) of people; but to ALL mankind; rich or poor, young and old, male and female, and regardless of ethnicity (color). Praise His Holy and Righteous Name Forevermore!
In St. Matthew 20:1-2 & 10-16 we read; For the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. *And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
The householder went also out at (the 3rd hour, the 6th hour, the 9th hour and the 11th hour) and hired more labors.
At the end of the day ALL the labors received the same pay.
An employer of honor will hire as many individuals as possible in order to get the work that he needs done; done as efficiently and quickly as possible; without jeopardizing his desired profit. *But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny. *And when they had received it, they murmured against the Goodman of the house, *Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day. *But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny? **Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will Give unto this last, EVEN AS unto thee. *Is it not Lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am Good? *So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be Called, but few Chosen.
I don’t think that I have ever seen a situation like the one mentioned in this Scripture; however, I have seen where individuals were hired to do a job at a certain rate of pay; and later on in time; other individuals were also hired to do the same job and they were given the same rate of pay.
When the ones that were hired first found out that the recent hires were receiving the same pay as they were; they complained to the employer; and said that they thought that they should receive a raise in pay since they had been working for him for a long time.
We read in St. Luke 3:12-14; Then came also publicans to be Baptized, and said unto him (John), Master, what shall we do? *And he said unto them, Exact no more than that which is appointed you. **And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to NO man, NEITHER accuse any falsely; and be Content with your wages.
The LORD is NOT a respecter of persons; HE Requires the same of everyone; Obedience. A good individual is honest and faithful and treats everyone with respect.
One thing that I would like to bring to your attention is that John did NOT tell the Soldiers to get out of the military; but to do violence to NO one. In other words; treat people well, while doing that which is required of them as Soldiers.
In St. Luke 6:27-28 & 35-36 we read; But I (Jesus) Say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, Do Good to them which hate you, **Bless them that curse you, and Pray for them which despitefully use you. **But Love ye your enemies, and Do Good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the Children of the Highest: for HE (YHWH) is Kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. **Be ye therefore Merciful, as your FATHER also is Merciful.
Just because a person is your enemy; it doesn’t mean that you should treat them hatefully. In showing Mercy (Love); you may win the heart of your enemy and thus, gain a friend and ally.
We read in St. Matthew 18:21-35; Then came Peter to Him (Jesus), and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I Forgive him? till seven times? *Jesus Saith unto him, I say NOT unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
Love is kind and Forgiving; but love does NOT mean that you throw caution to the wind; thus, making yourself vulnerable to harm and loss. As the LORD Shows us Mercy and Forgives us of our many sins; even, when we commit the same sin several times; over and over again.
*Therefore is the Kingdom of Heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. *And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. *But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. *The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. **Then the lord of that servant was Moved With Compassion, and Loosed him, and Forgave him the debt. *But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. *And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all. *And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. *So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done. *Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I Forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
**Shouldest not thou also have had Compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had Pity on thee? *And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him. *So likewise shall My Heavenly FATHER Do also unto you, if ye from your hearts Forgive NOT everyone his brother their trespasses.
The LORD Expects the Saints to Put On Righteousness and to Put On the Mind of Christ; so that we will be willing to Forgive those that transgress against us Even As the LORD for Christ Sake has Forgiven us of our Transgressions.
The Saints are NO longer of the flesh (the first Adam); but in Jesus we are NOW of the God Kind; heirs of GOD and joint heirs with Jesus. Praise HIS Holy Name!
The Apostle John in St. John 14:25-27 wrote; These things have I (Jesus) Spoken unto you, being yet present with you. *But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the FATHER will Send in My Name, He shall Teach you ALL things, and bring ALL things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have Said unto you. **Peace I Leave with you, My Peace I Give unto you: not as the world giveth, Give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Our Heavenly FATHER Gives unto us that Perfect Peace that Passes ALL understanding. A Soul (person) that is at Peace; is a Soul that is Peaceable with those that are around him.
Let us, as much as lieth in us; endeavor to show forth that Inspired Love of GOD that HE has Shown towards us to Everyone that we come in contact with day by day.
